The INDIA CLUB Restaurant serves an authentic north indian cuisine, that claims to be best in Germany. Head chef Manish Bahukhandi is one of the most striking representatives of the indian “rustic cuisine” and had last cooked at the 5 Star Hotel “The Claridges” in New-Delhi. He has been engaged in the indian top restaurants and hotels like “The Oberoi” in New-Delhi and the “Taj Mount Road” in Chennai. He will bring his hand selected team of specialty chefs: one for Curry dishes and another one for Tandooris. Fundamental for the indian cuisine are the authentic Tandoor-oven made from clay, where bread, meat and vegetables are cooked. Following the traditionally indian cuisine, INDIA CLUB will renounce on beef and pork but we therefor offer chicken, lamb, duck, fish and seafood. Poultry and lamb are from highest organic quality, and humane treatment of animals. They exclusively come from our agricultural Gut Vorder Bollhagen of the Jagdfeld family near the Baltic Sea.
Quality of ingredients is without doubt top notch. On special request, we had a lamb biryani which was excellent, rarely did i have lamb this tender and fresh. The chicken tikka was heavenly, too. All other items (we had a +100€ order) were also tasty, from the freshly made raita to the butter naan. I would have never thought to have this high level of authenticity of indian food in Germany. What a great experience. Thank you, India Club Berlin. We will be back.
We were searching nearby restaurant for diner and went there as it’s an Indian restaurant. We didn’t have any idea about there food and environment.but now I must say if you want to try authentic Indian dishes and at the same time you prefer nice environment where you can relax then it’s the perfect combo for you . Today’s diner and this place made my whole day. Highly recommended.
Delicious!!!!
One of the best indian food I've tried so far
For a long time I was looking for an Indian who could inspire me. The India Club succeeded. The individual ingredients are clearly recognizable and can be tasted, fine aromas and a great feel-good atmosphere made the evening perfect.
Top service. Very good food.
There were four of us in the restaurant - our expectation: tasty, sophisticated food and a cozy atmosphere. Per: + Ambience + Friendly service + Special needs (food intolerance) are dealt with + Presentation of the food Cons: - Food tastes terrible, of two starters and four main courses, only one main course tasted good - Tiny portions - Totally overpriced - Waiter often did not cover his nose with his mouth and nose protection Seriously: price-performance ratio extremely bad. The food tastes better at almost every (no matter how cheap!) Indian restaurant in Germany. We eat Indian a lot and like to eat and have already traveled to India several times. We wanted to please friends and were just ashamed of the bad taste of the food. From completely over-salted to a sticky taste, everything was there. I have seldom eaten so little tasty Indian food!
Very friendly and courteous service - the food was absolutely delicious - 100% recommendable 👍
A great place for fine dining and delicious Indian food. Unlike many Indian restaurants in Germany, they serve authentic curry (not just some cream based curry that we get usually). We ordered the tandoori paneer, slow cooked lamb with laccha paratha and some desserts, we loved it! The service was also top! We had a very good time here!!
Food and services both superb!
Easily THE best Indian restaurant in Berlin! Very attentive staff, stylish interior and excellent quality food.
One of the finest place to dine in Berlin. Great food with quick service
Very good Indian restaurant. Perfect welcome and service.
I have been to many places in India and around the world. Outside of India I have never tasted something that special and delicious as here @India Club Berlin. It has now a new frequent guest 👍
Brilliant Indian food.
Best indian in berlin. Prices are accordingly higher
This is some of the best indian food I've ever had and a wonderful place to celebrate special occasions
Food was tasty however, is very expensive.
Very nice restaurant. Food and service are very good.
I can only recommend this place! All tables were immaculately cleaned and the seating was extremely comfortable. Try the unique cuisine, there is usually something for everyone on the menu. Promter and nice service. I think that all the restaurant staff did a very good job there.
Good but pricey
The best Indian Restaurant in Berlin.
Great ambience, delicious dishes also suitable for vegetarians, for us the best Indian in Berlin.
Noble and modern ambience invites you to an Indian meal without arrogance. The waiter was very friendly and made a very suitable wine recommendation. In terms of price, it is a bit higher than usual, but the restaurant is also right by the Brandenburg Gate.
Taste was delicious, but it's way expensive compare to other restaurants around. One thing I like about is service, politeness and make feel you to care. Asking about feedback, what improvement needed and how service is being improvised. Overall good experience.
Attention: A visit or a meal is a drain on the wallet. But it's worth it. The interior design and the ambience alone are worth seeing. The friendliness and service culture of the house are impressive. Despite noble charm there is no arrogance. The food is terrific - experimental Indian, a bit of fusion, but still very down to earth from the basic ingredients. Great wine list.
One of the best Indian food in Berlin
Well authentic place original and best in Berlin my family is been there. Its all exclusive cuisine from the East. Slightly pricy but tasty
The reputation of being the best restaurant with Indian cuisine in Berlin is ahead of the India Club and has been confirmed. Regardless of this, I was particularly impressed by the excellent, personal service. See you soon!
Very warm, attentive service and exceptionally delicious North Indian cuisine. Everything tasted fantastic. We thank you for a wonderful evening and will definitely be back.
From the UK so grew up with good curry everywhere, though have found Berlin is terrible for Indian food. This Indian food was amazing however. It’s pricey so be prepared, but you will get genuinely delicious and well cooked meal. The staff were also lovely and very attentive. Would definitely go again.
Upscale Indian cuisine that you will rarely find in our region. Excellent taste and surprising, perfect service and nice ambience. An all-round successful and recommendable evening. We will definitely be back. Thanks a lot
Super delicious
Friendly and delicious. I always ordered a chicken masala at an Indian restaurant, but I ate it. I just wanted to send me inside first. I wanted to .. Since then, Westerners have also come to my side. Haha (Sorry!-^) Anyway, it was nice to be kind.
Good ambience, very good food, below average service.
Best Indian restaurant in Berlin
Great food and service. Nice ambience.
Superb service and food. However, far too hot for my German co-diners. It's common to tone down the heat in spicy food in Germany, a custom this restaurant thankfully doesn't follow which ensures authentic heat and flavour in the dishes but which also prevents me giving the fill five stars as I was left feeling sorry that the food wasn't enjoyable for the whole group - perhaps something waiters could discuss with diners as they order. However, speaking solely for myself now I loved the food. Every item was full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Although, this is quality and flavour one must pay for and I was able to rack up a bill of 140 EUR for two people without much effort. It was worth every cent but something to bear in mind before attending.
Best Indian in town. Quiet atmosphere and very friendly staff!
So tasty
It was a new experience for me, staff super friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty and good, the portions clear and refined. Beer selection was very interesting. Conclusion: recommended ...
I love Indian food, and this is one of the two best Indian restaurants I've ever tried (the other one was in New York). Great service and atmosphere. The appetizers and the side dishes were a little expensive.
I'm rakesh Singh from Uttarakhand India theri garhwal I'm looking for job in Germany I'm interested Indian restaurant tandoor Indian chef plz I'm working experience jw marriott Hotel India and CONRAD by Hilton
Expensive but worth the money, the food quality is similar to what we get in a 5 star hotel in India. Traditional and high end.
Great service, food is good obviously a bit spiced down.
Incredibly tasty, great quality, super friendly and very attentive service. And at the same time very fair prices. The ambience is also really nice. We recommend!
Absolutely delicious food served elegantly by super friendly staff.
Very good food!
Very delicious food, and very friendly staff.
After multiple disappointments with the so called "Indian" restaurants in Berlin, we tried India Club based on a friends recommendation. We tried the highway chicken tikka which was moderately spiced and perfectly cooked. The chicken tawa masala was authentic and the best indian dish we tasted in a while. The pollichathu on the other hand was disappointing, the original version is fish steamed in banana leaf but this was tough overcooked fish and the spices missed the authentic flavours. The chicken dishes were so good though that they more than made up for the fish.
